To launch the One40 book shop we are proud to present:

“I believe that books like Who Says Im an Addict will help people to understand what addiction is, enable them to recognise it in all its forms and allow people into therapy to make this transformation. I have worked with David Smallwood for many years and have found his approach to be a constant revelation into our understanding of the devastating effects that addiction has on individuals, families and society.

DR Neil Brener; Consultant Psychiatrist UK

“This offering by David Smallwood contains a wealth of insight, wisdom and help for anyone who wants information about addictions and recovery.  I found this book to be a breezy read as David has been able to simplify a rather complicated subject.” Pia Mellody; internationally recognised expert on dependence and recovery.

“Shambo does such a wonderful job of describing the therapeutic process and how horses can assist with attaining therapeutic goals… I have seen many models of EFP/L and this one really stands out. Leigh grounds the intuitive, energetic work with horses into solid, research based theory and has come up with something outstanding.”                                                                Stacey Carter TRI, ES Salisbury, NC
